My recent image pendants ~

Hi. I found your blog through flickr. I was admiring your image pendants, the transfers are gorgeous! I'm just getting into polymer clay, and I wondered if you could tell me what technique you use to transfer the image. I've done some searching, and so far the technique that I like best is using an inkjet printer and t-shirt transfer paper, then baking with the paper facedown on the clay. Is this the best method, or do you have another? Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks so much for your kind words ! I use waterslide transfers. You can get instructions on how to use them on Lisa Pavelka's site ~ covered in clay. You can also purchase transfer sheets there or I buy mine on Ebay. It does take some practice and I have never tried the t~shirt transfer paper so I can't compare them for you. Once They are cured and the "Frame" is glazed I use Krylon crystal clear glaze to protect the image that sets up very strong almost like resin or glass.
I Hope this helps ~ Good Luck !
Kellee
